Cannabis: a poisoned gift?
While France is a country where cannabis is illegal, it is also one of the countries with the highest cannabis population users, for example, 21.8% of 15-34 year olds having used it at least once in their lives. In addition, the experimentation of medical cannabis has been included in the Social Security Financing Law for 2020 and has been operational since March 2021. However, in this context, the perceptions and representations of the product among adults are, to date, not documented. The qualitative study of the CANAAn project (Factors associated with CANnabis trajectories from adolescence to adulthood) aims to better understand the motivations related to the consumption of this product in adulthood and the meaning attributed to these uses.
