Appointment of Dr Aude Jary as Associate Professor

Dr Aude Jary has been appointed Associate Professor at the faculty of Medicine of Sorbonne University on September 1^st, 2023 and is working in the virology department of the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital.   

Her research theme is mainly on oncogenic viruses, more specifically the human papillomavirus (HPV) and the gammaherpesviruses (HHV-8 and EBV). She is conducting research on the epidemiology and the viral diversity in the different diseases associated with these viruses.  She is also developing an activity on the methylation of the host and of the viral genome during the oncogenic process in order to identify biomarkers that may have prognostic and follow-up interest in these diseases.
